# Chat Sidebar

This is a global block that is available on the **Tasks and Teams pages**. To open it, click on the `Chat icons` of any entity on these pages.

This block is similar to the [Chats Page](/pages-and-ui-elements/chats-page.md#chat-block) on the [Chats Page](/pages-and-ui-elements/chats-page.md), but with a key difference: on the Tasks and Chats pages, the Chat sidebar is fixed to the right of the screen. This allows users to work on these pages while simultaneously communicating with teammates.
